But both Eleanor and Barrie hide deep secrets that fracture his fragile tranquility with terrifying consequences.

About the Author. . .

Having suffered the horrors of being a Jew in an early 1970s English boarding school, I have had a lifetime interest in the choices that parents make. My four decades as a financial adviser gave me considerable insight into the lives of families: their hopes and fears, their feuds and priorities, and I knew I wanted to write a page- turning thriller. At the age of 64 I started to write Safehouse; I loved the writing process and now I have the joy of a novel which was completed in 2022 and launched at London’s most famous Bookshop, Foyles in Charing Cross. I live in London and the tiny south coast village of Mudeford. My wife, Jude, is my Editor and we discuss the characters and plot as we walk by the sea and in the woods.
