If you couldn’t tell by now, I’m not an advocate of banning books. I’m a book blogger that believes every creative has the right to express themselves through the written word in whatever genre he/she so chooses to write. I’ve hosted an array of subjects/genres on this blog for over fifteen years. I do not care about an authors’ nationality, race, or sex. The only thing I ask for is that anyone visiting the Sexy Nerd be respectful of the content in which you read here. I do not tolerate and/or host authors who spout hate or insight violence toward any individual or group.
I believe everyone has a right to be who they are and should be able to do so unapologetically and without fear. I support the LGBTQIA+ authors and readers and I have, from time to time, received some push back from individuals who do not agree. This is the main reason I've turned off commenting on all posts. It's anyone's right to not like the type of adult content I host. But, please know your opinion of the types of books I promote does not, in any way, change the way I do business. Not only do I not tolerate hate or violence toward individuals or groups, one of my biggest pet peeves is bullying. I will NOT be bullied into changing my beliefs in who I choose to support on this blog. If you’re a person that takes issue with the types of books I promote, I respectfully ask that you find another blog to visit. If you are here reading this, that means you had to go through the security measures I have set in place allowing your admission to my blog, which also means, after you’ve viewed the blog and decided it was not for you, it is at that time, you need to exit. Do not cause problems for others who happen to enjoy the content I host.
I wholeheartedly appreciate your stopping by and checking out the authors I’m proud to promote. Hopefully, you’ve found some books you might be interested in reading or sharing the buy links with your fans and followers to help further these indie authors’ work. The Internet is a large space and the fact that you chose to be here, speaks volumes. I greatly appreciate your stopping by and it is my sincerest hope that you will continue to be a fan and support this blog and its authors it hosts. And, if it's not for you, I totally understand. The Sexy Nerd will continue to go on. 😏
